The Rewrite tells a story about a washed-up screenwriter played by the smouldering Hugh Grant, who feels like he's at a stand still in his Hollywood career. He decides to take the offer to teach a creative writing class at a university on the other side of the country. There, he meets quirky individuals that he hasn't quite encountered before - namely one single mom played by Marissa Tomei. Let's just say some hilarity (and romance) ensue!

Megan, played by Keira Knightley, was in the throes of her quarter-life crisis. When her long-time boyfriend proposes to her, she panicked and decided to run for the hills. Only she ended up in the home of her new 16 year old friend Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz) who lives with her single dad played by the always-a-hottie Sam Rockwell. It's really not just your regular romantic comedy!

The movie tells a story about Hector (the always amazing Simon Pegg), the quirky psychiatrist who goes on a journey around the world for a search of happiness. From Shanghai to Los Angeles, Hector's search for the meaning of happiness is definitely one interesting ride!
